Another successful young men’s bush retreat!

Another weekend that leaves me pinching myself that I get to witness Young Men evolve right in front of me.

No matter what I do or teach, I can’t force these Young Men to step up and face the fears and challenges presented to them on the Retreat.

Yet, they all did. Every time.

For some it’s physical challenges, for some it’s social, mental or emotional. Of course there is always more to go and they cannot overcome every life obstacle in one weekend, but if the average person could see what these Young Men accomplish (whether they realize it or not!) in the short amount of time they spend together, the average person would be humbled and inspired.

To say I’m proud of them is an understatement.
Just as much an understatement as to say I’m thankful for their trust and commitment.

Not to mention the hearts of gold I saw in the interactions between each other and the animals they came across.

Thank you once again to the parents and guardians who took the leap and entrusted these Young Men into the Bush Retreat.
